Campground Rules
Before making a reservation at Canyonlands Needles Outpost, we strongly encourage you to review our policies and guidelines. Understanding these details ensures a smooth experience for every guest and helps maintain the serene and respectful atmosphere of our campground. Please familiarize yourself with our rules to enhance your upcoming visit.
- 1.CHECK IN TIME FOR THE GLAMPING TENT AND GROUP SITE IS NO LATER THAN 5PM. WE DO NOT OFFER LATE CHECK INS FOR THESE LISTINGS. IF YOU ARE NOT HERE BY 5PM FOR ANY OF THESE SITES YOU WILL RELINQUISH YOUR STAY FOR THE NIGHT. PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY.
- 2.Check in time for tent and rv's sites are from 11:00am to 6:00pm. You will have more sites to choose from when you check in earlier in the day.
- 3.PLEASE NOTIFY US VIA EMAIL (hello@needlesoutpost.com) IF YOU WILL BE LATER OR NOT SHOWING. ABSOLUTELY NO LATE CHECK INS (NO EXCEPTIONS) FOR THE GLAMPING TENT OR GROUP SITE. PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING.
- 4.ABSOLUTELY NO CHECK-INS AFTER 8pm so as not to be a disturbance to other guests giving an hour for set up before quiet time. We enforce the 9pm quiet hour for our guests to have a peaceful, quiet stay.
- 5.Speed Limit on our driveway is 10MPH, and 5MPH approaching the parking lot and all throughout the campground and strictly enforced.
- 6.Quiet Time is 9pm - 9am. Generators must be shut off during these times as well as bright outside lights, we are a dark sky designation. We ask guests not be driving around the campground during this time. Be a kind & considerate neighbor & be mindful of your voices & no slamming doors. Sound really echos off the rocks.
- 7.NO MUSIC ANY TIME of day or night! No acoustic instruments in the campground. You can play on the porch.
- 8.Do not hang anything in the trees, no hammocks, tarps, clothes lines etc.
- 9.Dogs are allowed in the campground on a leash at all times and picked up after. NO DOGS INSIDE ANY BUILDINGS. Do not tie them up outside of buildings near entry ways.
- 10.Do not bring in any trash from previous locations.
- 11.Check in by 6pm if you will want or need anything from the store. SHOWER TOKENS, firewood, ice etc. are purchased at the store 9-6.
- 12.Absolutely no marking on the rocks anywhere on the property. Please educate all members in your group.
- 13.ALL GUESTS (including return guests) MUST STOP at the store BEFORE driving into the campground to chose a site. IF you set up in a site you did not pay for ie: Group Site or Glamping Tent you will be charged the cost of the site in addition to a fee to remove your belongings if you are no where to be found to pack your things yourself.
Changing or cancelling
Rescheduling and Cancelations are now automated. Respond to your confirmation email with the change/cancel link and you can make the changes yourself. Please allow 5-10 business days for refunds to process.
Group Site Cancellation Policy
- 60+ days before arrival: full refund minus $10 fee
- 30-59 days before arrival: 50% refund minus $10 fee
- Under 30 days or no-show: no refund
Standard Cancellation Policy
- 30+ days before arrival: full refund minus $10 fee
- 14-29 days before arrival: 50% refund minus $10 fee
- Under 14 days or no-show: no refund
A cancellation fee always applies — there is no full-refund tier. Refunds are worked out on the cost of the site itself, not on tax or extras. You can see your own exact figure, and cancel or change dates, from the link in your confirmation email.
